Homemade Ice Cream with your Nanny Kids

Sunday (June 19th) is National Ice Cream Day! You know how much we love all the fun holidays over here so we wanted to help you celebrate them all with your nanny kids with a few fun recipes that are easy to make with children. 

Banana Ice Cream

Ingredients

2 Ripe Bananas

1/4 Cup Milk of Choice if needed

Optional toppings: Whipped cream, chocolate chips, cherry, nuts

Instructions

Peel the bananas, cut into pieces and freeze them 

When the bananas are fully frozen, toss in food processor or blender

If it is having trouble processing, add up to 1/4 cup of milk 

Blend until you get consistency that resembles soft-serve ice cream

Serve with desired toppings!

Strawberry Banana Ice Cream

Ingredients 

2 Ripe Bananas

Container of Strawberries

1/4 Cup Milk of Choice if needed

Optional toppings: Whipped cream, chopped bananas, chopped strawberries, mint

Instructions

Peel the bananas, cut into pieces and freeze them 

Wash, de-stem, cut strawberries into halves and freeze them

When the fruit is fully frozen, toss in food processor or blender

If it is having trouble processing, add up to 1/4 cup of milk 

Blend until you get consistency that resembles soft-serve ice cream

Serve with desired toppings!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Ice Cream

Ingredients

3 Ripe Bananas

2 Tablespoons Creamy Peanut Butter

1/4 Cup Milk of Choice

1 Tablespoon Cocoa Powder

Optional toppings: Whipped cream, chocolate chips, cherry, nuts, sliced bananas

Instructions

Peel the bananas, cut into pieces and freeze them 

Toss all ingredients in food processor or blender

Blend until smooth

Freeze in small pan until solid

Serve with desired toppings!
